Mauricio Pochettino's side ended a four-match winless run in the Premier League by thumping the 'Potters' on Saturday, but Eriksen is keen to show that the result was not a false dawn.
Speaking to the club's official website, the Dane admitted that the performance against Stoke was a significant improvement on previous weeks, but insisted that it will count for nothing unless Spurs get three points against the 'Seagulls'.
'Our possession was a bit better against Stoke than it has been lately,' Eriksen explained.
'When you score goals it makes it easier and more fluent and we now have to do the same things on Wednesday.
'It will be tough again, Brighton will probably look for a point - we want all three.'
Harry Kane scored twice in the win over Stoke as he took his tally for the year to 50, however it was South Korea international Son Heung-Min who stole the show scoring once, creating two more and generally terrorising the Stoke backline.
The 25-year-old was reluctant to take all the credit for his performance though, citing the movement of Kane and Dele Alli as key factors in his recent displays.
'I always try to give options on the left,' he said. 'The movement from Harry and Dele (Alli) make it easier because I can go one against one, sometimes cross, sometimes shoot.
'We showed at 2-0 that we had the confidence to play, everyone wanted the ball, everyone wanted to score. We had even more chances. We're really happy to get these three points.'
