'Sky Sports News' claims to have been told by a senior RB Leipzig official that reported Liverpool target Naby Keita will not be sold this summer.
This comes just days after the German side claimed to have rejected an offer of £67m for the 22-year-old from an unnamed club (believed to be Liverpool).
The same source reports that Liverpool have now had three bids for the Guinean international rejected.
Keita has been Liverpool's top midfield target all summer after impressing for the German side last season following his move from Red Bull sister club RB Salzburg.
His dynamic box-to-box style was seen as a perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp's high-intensity style and it was believed that Keita could fit seamlessly into any of the three midfield positions in Klopp's favoured 4-3-3 system.
However, following this news, it appears that Klopp may have to look elsewhere.
The German's need for a new midfielder may have lessened slightly in recent days, with the former Borussia Dortmund boss insisting that Emre Can will not leave the club, despite interest from Juventus.
