Zinedine Zidane has already opened the door for the European Champions to make a move for Harry Kane and showed his admiration for the England striker by describing him as "a complete forward".
The French coach's glowing tribute to Kane, just days before the two sides collide in the Champions League, sounds like the start of Madrid going public with their attempts to sign him, much like they did with Gareth Bale in 2013.
According to the aforementioned source, Los Blancos are plotting a huge £150m move for the 24-year-old in the summer and Zidane's comments suggests he could be their No 1 priority.
However, despite the heavy interest from the side from the Spanish capital, it is thought that Tottenham are holding out for an offer of at least £200m for the prized asset, a figure which Florentino Perez may be unwilling to meet.
As the side's prepare to meet in consecutive Champions League games, Kane will be hoping to be on his best form to impress one of his many potential suitors.
