Morata spoke with Torres ahead of Chelsea move

Fernando Torres knows how it feels to become the Blues record signing and Morata has revealed that he spoke to the man whose transfer record he is about to break. 

'I have spoken with Fernando, who has told me he'll give me a hand with whatever I need,' Morata told Spanish outlet AS.

'I have been training hard for whatever outcome, but I was clear that this was my objective. It's sad to leave Real Madrid, but I hope that everything will go well for me at Chelsea.'

Torres failed to live up to his £50million expectations at Stamford Bridge, scoring just 20 times in 110 Premier League appearances. 

Now at Atletico Madrid, Torres is ready to help Morata settle into life at Chelsea as quickly as possible.
