The 24-year-old flew out to Signapore to join up with the squad after completing his big-money move. Chelsea are in the country for friendlies against Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
Chelsea's official Twitter account posted footage of Morata joining his new team-mates for training and the Spanish striker looked in a jovial mood as he chatted away with goalkeeper Willy Caballero.
Tuesday's friendly with Bayern may come too soon for the former Juventus striker, who may also have a battle on his hands to be Chelsea's No 1 striker this season after Michy Batshuayi's stunning two-goal salvo against Arsenal on Saturday.
