Ronaldo's message for Neymar's PSG

"I'm not afraid of PSG," Ronaldo told 'L'Equipe'. "We're the defending champions, two years in a row, we have to respect that," he said.

The 32-year-old spoke to the French outlet about Real's upcoming fixtures and his own current form, an interview in which he stated that if the ball doesn't want to go in it is not his fault.

"I don’t agree with what people are saying about me. People don’t know the difference between playing well, playing OK and not scoring goals. I’m looked at as a goal machine, like a guy who has to score all the time. If that isn’t the case, nobody cares if I’ve played well or not, I’m only judged on scoring."

"I accept the criticism, but I don’t agree with it. That’s why I avoid reading or hearing what is said about me. But I have no choice but to accept it; I can’t control the world," he added.

"I'm calm, you can say that I'm like a plane that's gliding calmly. Two years ago something like this happened and I bounced back," said the four-time Ballon d'Or winner, who also backed Real Madrid to get their season back on track after suffering a painful defeat by Spurs: "We would prefer to finish first in the group, but the most important thing first of all is qualification."
