Leicester: Rebel winger Riyad Mahrez looks set to start his first Premier League match since the transfer saga with Manchester City as Puel will likely choose him to head the attack with Jamie Vardy. The 'Foxes' will take heart in the fact they have no noticeable absentees going into the fixture.
Stoke: The 'Potters' have an almost full-strength squad for the clash against Leceister, with Stephen Ireland their only long-term absentee with a fractured leg as Bruno Martins Indi has recovered from his leg injury. However, the game has also come too soon for Peter Crouch who hasn't reached full fitness from an ankle problem yet.
Leicester City manager Claude Puel:
"I think it will be a tough game against [Stoke] because, for me, we will not play against a team in 19th position. They play well with good football on the floor - quality, good pressing and fighting spirit. In their last games, against Brighton, it was a draw. With [Xherdan] Shaqiri and [Joe] Allen, they can make the difference".
Puel also praised striker Jamie Vardy: “He’s in good form and [has] a good attitude, of course; he can score, because around him he has good team-mates who can give him good assists and good possibilities. Of course, Jamie is an important, valuable player for the team, like all the other players".
Stoke head coach Paul Lambert:
“We have one or two knocks and niggles, so we are going to have to check on them tomorrow. It is too early to say whether they will make it or not, so as it stands you would have to say they are doubts".
"If they come through and make it then great, but if not then we have a big enough squad to cope.”
