Ehiogu passed away on April 21 2017, after suffering a heart attack at Tottenham's training ground. The former defender had previously played for 'Spurs', as well as England, and was employed as the coach of the U23 side at the club.
As reported by 'Sky Sports, Pocchetino says it was a hard thing for the club to deal with. "It affected everyone," he said. "It was a very bad situation and we still feel the pain. It was a very difficult moment to live through."
His passing came just before Tottenham were knocked out of the FA Cup by Chelsea in the semi-final, but Poch wants to make amends and win it this year for Ehiogu. Tottenham take on Manchester United at Wembley on Saturday, in the first of the two FA Cup semi-finals.
"I'm sure the players are going to remember [him], as well as the fans and everyone else," he stated. "Of course, we are going to remember him and his family as well.
"We need to transform this pain into motivation and, if possible, to dedicate the victory to him."
