Real Betis v Real Madrid - Preview and possible lineups

Real Betis: The hosts may be without experienced striker Ruben Castro, who is a doubt with a chest injury, whilst Joel Campbell could also miss out despite returning to training earlier this week. Anotnio Sanabria remains sidelined with a knee complaint.

Real Madrid: German midfielder Toni Kroos will miss out after suffering a knee injury in the victory over PSG in midweek. Defender Jesus Vallejo is also unavailable with a hamstring problem. But apart from that, Zinedine Zidane has a full squad to choose from for the trip.

Real Betis defender Antonio Barragan on Real Madrid:

“They have a great team, great players. Madrid is one of the best in the world and they’ll come to win. The result yesterday is going to be a boost for them. We have to focus on ourselves, on trying to create problems to them. Of course, get the three points and take that leap on the table and continue with our positive streak.

“Our idea is what it is. Having possession, pressing high, stealing the ball on their side of the pitch, having long possessions. We’ll have a great team in front, and they will create problems, that’s for sure. We are going to keep with our philosophy, though.”

We haven't had many days to rest up but that's just the way it goes. We're now just thinking about doing a good job tomorrow. Our focus is on LaLiga".
